Astrophysics Research Centre
The Astrophysics Research Centre was established in 2022 and conducts world-leading research in exoplanets, stars and nearby galaxies.
Utilizing cutting-edge data analysis, machine learning and big data techniques, we tackle problems at the forefront of astrophysics research.
Our research spans the detection of extra-solar planets to the fundamental properties of stars and the interstellar medium within galaxies. We study the formation and evolution of stars at all masses, from low-mass stars like the Sun to the massive stars that dominate galaxies, as well as the star clusters they are born in.
We utilize data from world-class new observatories and instruments, both on the ground and in space, and are also involved in the development of such facilities for the future.
