Raised/selected by Masatoshi Asari in Hokkaido, Northern Japan. Medium-sized, single pink flowers, whitish with a purple eye, flowering early. With time forms a vigorous, large, spreading tree.
Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in 2012.
