Prunus leveilliana
syn. Prunus serrulata var. pubescens, Prunus verrecunda
Similar to Prunus jamasakura but late flowering. Grows wild in Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikuku, Kyushu, etc. Single flowers, 2 – 4 per corymb, c. 2” dia, white or light red.
