Prunus Caroline

A spontaneous seedling of Prunus x yedoensis ‘Somei-yoshino’ selected by Benoit Choteau at Pépinières Choteau in Southern Belgium and named for his daughter.

It forms a narrow upright tree with leaves opening green. In late March, large pink-flushed white single flowers in large inflorescences open flat from pale pink-tinged buds.
