A Scarlet Oak Quercus coccinea was planted below Firs Hill. Compartment 25, square M10.
A plaque reads "Quercus coccinea (Scarlet Oak). In loving memory of Mum. Marjorie Howard 1923 - 2006. "The gods who mortal beauty chase, still in a tree did end their race".
