    Biography

    I have been teaching on the Keele MPharm since 2007, having previously taught at Aston University.  I have a background in hospital pharmacy.  As a Professor of Pharmacy Education, I teach in many areas of the course, primarily in clinical therapeutics but also pharmaceutical calculations, aseptic dispensing, and microbiology.  Between 2018 and 2024, I was Head of School of Pharmacy and Bioengineering.  Prior to this I was the MPharm Course Director and Associate Dean for Education for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.  My research interests lie within the field of pharmacy education, particularly technology enhanced learning, augmented reality simulation, and interprofessional education. I was awarded Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in November 2020.
