Biography
Emily graduated from the University of Manchester with an MPharm in 2018 and began her hospital pharmacy career at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. Over the following five years, she gained experience across a range of clinical specialties, including cardiology, paediatrics, and critical care, while completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice at Keele University (2019–2021).
In 2022, Emily qualified as an Independent Prescriber at Aston University and developed specialist interests in diabetes, general medicine, and oncology, progressing to an Advanced Specialist Pharmacist role.
In 2025, she joined Keele University as a part-time Academic Clinical Educator, combining clinical practice with teaching. Her teaching focuses primarily on clinical therapeutics and prescribing skills. Emily currently practises within Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, providing clinical and prescribing support across mental health and older adults’ services. With a strong interest in experiential learning, she leads the hospital placement programme for MPharm students across MPFT sites and delivers bedside teaching to third and fourth year students.
