WriteFest2018

November is Academic Writing month!

WriteFest (#AcWriFest18) is part of Keele University's contribution to Academic Writing Month and occurs in November.  It is a collaboration with the Universities of Sheffield, Exeter, Manchester, Bristol, Kings College London, Sheffield Hallam, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Derby and Adelaide!

WriteFest will bring together people from across the University to recognise and celebrate writing.  The month will consist of a selection of workshops to help you write and writing retreats to provide you with the space to write.

Use the hashtag #AcWriFest18 to celebrate your writing. 

The festival aims to provide protected time and space for writing to help you work on:

Get involved

  • Get writing in November with inspiration from all the contributions to #AcriWriMo on Twitter.
  • Use the #AcWriFest18 hashtag to share your progress with other researchers at Keele and across the other Universities.
  • Book onto one of our workshops or writing retreats.

Writing Retreats

To attend a writing retreat. Choose the ones(s) that suit you best and book your place using Keele People or the link given.

Then, simply bring your laptop, or pen and paper along. This 1 min video, from Sheffield University, covers what the retreat sessions will, and won't (!) involve.
Please arrive in plenty of time, and stay for the full session.
