Workshop Booking

The Academic Development Team will help you to develop your skills and practice to be the best you can, with your work here at Keele. The following workshops are available to book through the team.

Places are provided free of charge to the University, however we reserve the right to charge a fee for cancellations. Please obtain your manager's approval to attend before booking, if appropriate. If you require any reasonable adjustments (large print, or accessible environment for example) to enable you to fully participate in any of our events, please contact us at

Please note: If less than five participants are booked to attend a workshop, we reserve the right to cancel.

Booking is completed via Keele People at and selecting ESS.

  1. Enter your Keele username and password
  2. Select Learning and Development from the menu
  3. Once on the Learning and Development Tab, Search for the course using a keyword or two from the course title
  4. In the Results, click on the White box containing the course name and information
  5. On the next page, make sure that you click on the box, rather than the "add to waiting list" button.
  6. From there you should be able to see more about the course, fill in the details and register.

Online Learning and Development

An online learning and development environment is available for use by all Keele staff and PGR students. All the courses are available to all staff to access from their desks at any time. You can access the online learning offer at Staff Online Learning at Keele, and will need to use your Keele user name and password.
