Pharmacy at Keele ranked among Top 10 in England
Keele’s Pharmacy degree has been ranked among the best in England in this year’s Complete University Guide (2027).
The 2027 Guide measures universities on factors like student satisfaction, research quality, and graduate employment outcomes, using data from national sources including the National Student Survey, HESA Graduate Outcomes survey, and the Research Excellence Framework.
Pharmacy students at Keele benefit from approximately 30 weeks of placement experience during their course, one of the highest amounts for pharmacy students anywhere in the UK, and teaching from research-active academics at the forefront of their fields.
Pharmacy teaching at Keele also makes use of the latest technologies and innovations such as augmented reality, to complement the high levels of clinical skills training and ensure graduates are ready for a career in the healthcare sector.
Professor Heidi Fuller, Head of the School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy at Keele, said: “We are delighted to see Keele’s Pharmacy programme recognised among the top in England. This reflects the dedication of our staff to delivering high-quality, research-informed teaching and an outstanding student experience.
“A defining strength of our programme is the scale and quality of our partnerships with primary and secondary care pharmacy organisations, which enable our students to benefit from extensive, practice-based learning. Combined with innovative teaching approaches, this ensures our graduates are confident, capable, and ready to make a meaningful contribution to patient care and the wider healthcare system.”
