Keele ranked in UK Top 15 for graduate employability
Keele University has placed highly for its graduate employability prospects in a new ranking shaped by student reviews, with 97% saying they would recommend the University.
Keele has placed in the UK Top 15 for graduate employability prospects in the 2026 Uni Compare rankings, while the University is also placed in the Top 20 for course quality.
Student employability is embedded within the university’s approach to teaching, with every undergraduate degree at Keele (excluding apprenticeships and “top up” degrees) now offering students a work placement opportunity, to help boost their employability and give them important industry skills and contacts before they graduate.
Professor Mark Ormerod OBE, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost at Keele, said: “We have put a major emphasis on employability in all our degree programmes at Keele, as well as the quality of our courses, so I’m delighted that Keele has been placed in the Top 15 UK universities for graduate employability prospects and in the Top 20 for course quality, based on student reviews.
“We have redesigned all our undergraduate programmes in the last year to place an even greater emphasis on employability and skills, with every undergraduate degree now offering a work placement opportunity as part of the degree.”
The Uni Compare rankings ask students to score their universities on several different aspects of university life including course quality, employability, accommodation and social life, with students also giving an overall judgement on whether they would recommend the university.
