Welcome to Ansera, a beautiful and quaint fishing village on the west coast of Salutia. It truly is a very special place that has completely captured our hearts. Ansera is St. Lucia's capital of culture, and its vibrant spirit is evident everywhere you look, from the colorful houses behind me to the way people live their lives here.

However, like every community, Ansera faces its own set of challenges. Today, as part of the Caribbean Elective, we are here to spend time in this community and understand the challenges it encounters. We firmly believe that by harnessing the imagination, innovative skills, and creative thinking of young people and applying them to the issues faced by communities like Ansera, we can make significant progress and help propel this community into the future.
