I'm a neuroscience student at Keele University, and I'm currently on placement with Pfizer, working as a clinical trial associate.
Pfizer is a global pharmaceutical company with offices across the globe. I'm currently working in Kent, focusing on clinical trials. I work as a clinical trial associate, or a CTA, at Pfizer, where the majority of my focus is making sure that we're audit ready. I heard about the role at Pfizer through the Keele placement team.
My favourite part of placement was definitely the CTA trip to Germany. It was a huge face to face meeting with 180 colleagues all congregating in Frankfurt. And I met so many, so many people. I presented twice and facilitated two panel interviews with my manager. It was an incredible opportunity to meet the colleagues that I'd met on Teams face to face.
I really enjoyed my placement, and my time at Pfizer has been hugely beneficial to my development. And if anyone's considering doing a placement, you should absolutely go for it.
