Transport to Keele

Bus

Keele benefits from strong transport links both locally and nationally, with regular bus services to and from the campus and easy access to the local train station. A regular bus service operates between the campus and Hanley via Newcastle and Stoke-on-Trent. There are several bus operators which travel to and from Keele, the main route is the 25.

Train

We’re lucky to be well connected by rail, with two nearby train stations at Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent. Both stations offer frequent services to destinations across the UK, making travelling to and from campus easy and convenient.

Cycle

If you would like to cycle to, from and around Keele, useful information around cycle storage and showers can be found here.

Parking on campus

There are plenty of parking spaces available across campus. Alongside permit-holder parking we also offer hundreds of convenient pay-to-park spaces, which don’t require a permit. Pay-to-park is ideal if you only bring your car to campus occasionally and don’t need a permit. You can pay quickly and easily using the app, and even extend your parking session if you decide to stay longer than planned.

Dedicated space for you to study, chill, and connect

You’ll find a dedicated space for local and commuting students in Keele's Tawney Building, a great spot to chill or catch up on uni work.

Across campus, there are also plenty of social spaces, cafés, quiet areas, and the library to make the most of your day, whether you are between lectures or just hanging out with friends.
