Our Postgraduate Open Events allow you to find out more about your chosen subject area, meet our academics, and get a feel for what life is like in our close-knit postgraduate community.
For postgraduates, our rural campus community provides an environment that is focused, relevant and mature. You will have full access to our respected academics and benefit from our excellence in research. Keele offers a full range of postgraduate programmes, that will enable you to progress your career and broaden your opportunities.
Our upcoming Postgraduate Open Events will take place on:
- Wednesday 3 June 2026 (Virtual event: 12pm – 2pm; In-person event: 6pm – 8pm)
- Wednesday 2 December 2026 (Virtual event: 12pm – 2pm; In-person event: 3pm – 5pm)
What will the events be like?
You can choose to join us on campus or online. The virtual online element of the event takes place 12:00 - 14:00 BST, and the on-campus element takes place 18:00 - 20:00 BST with refreshments and sign-in from 17:00 BST.
During both the on-campus and online sessions, you can:
- Hear from a range of teams across Keele about the benefits of postgraduate study, and from current students about their experience of studying at Keele
- Chat with our academic staff who will answer any questions you have about our postgraduate courses

Yes, booking is required. Once you’ve registered, a week in advance of the event you’ll receive your event ticket along with full event details, including timings, location information, and (if applicable) joining instructions for virtual sessions.
Yes. Virtual Postgraduate Open Events allow you to join talks, connect with our academics, and ask questions remotely. You’ll also hear from current students, giving you a real insight into postgraduate life at Keele.

Yes. If you attend an on-campus event, you can explore Keele’s campus via a campus tour with our Student Ambassadors and take a self-guided tour of our accommodation - to see where you could live as a postgraduate student.
This gives you the flexibility to explore at your own pace and focus on the areas that matter most to you.
Yes, we aim to make attending as easy as possible:
- Free parking is available on campus for all event attendees
- You and your guests can benefit from free local bus travel on the day of the event on any First Bus service within The Potteries area
Simply show your event ticket (sent after booking) to the driver.
Many visitors use the No. 25 First Bus, which connects Stoke-on-Trent railway station with the campus via Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Yes, you’ll have opportunities to engage with both academic staff and current students, depending on how you attend.

Yes, guests are welcome to attend with you and can also take advantage of free parking and travel.
Yes, Keele’s on-campus day nursery offers free childcare for children up to the age of 5 during selected events depending on availability. Please check your confirmation email for details and note spaces are limited.

- You’ll be directed to the nursery
If you’re interested in childcare during your future studies at Keele, you can also request a tour of the nursery during your visit.
