Prestigious award for student on Environmental Practitioner Apprenticeship
A degree apprenticeship student has been named a Rising Star in the prestigious '30 Under 30' category at this year's Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Awards Gala.
Charley Tordoff is an Environmental Practitioner Apprentice at Keele and is working at Tilbury Douglas, a building, infrastructure and fit-out business.
The accolade is awarded to people to celebrate their exceptional contributions to the construction industry, highlighting their dedication, innovation, and commitment within their roles.
Charley said: "It's great to get such recognition whilst being relatively new to the industry. I'm really enjoying the combinational benefits of the degree apprenticeship through the Environmental Practitioner Apprenticeship, with interesting academic learning alongside a whole host of practical experience through Tilbury Douglas.
"One of my favourite bits is the campus weeks full of fieldwork and hands-on environmental learning."
