The role of a Keele Student Ambassador
Student Ambassadors are offered work in a range of different events and settings. The main role of a Student Ambassador is to share your experience of life at Keele with others.
As a Student Ambassador there is the opportunity to work and support in the following areas:
Student Ambassadors can be requested to provide administrative support to various areas of the university.
There may be opportunities for you to work alongside staff at residential events, where you will be supporting attendees throughout their stay at Keele and sharing your own experience of university.
There are various roles available for Student Ambassadors to work during an Open or Offer Holder Day whether that be supporting your academic school or in central areas welcoming visitors around the university. Each role is pivotal in ensuring that the day runs as smoothly as possible.
It is a requirement of being a Student Ambassador that you represent the university at the main recruitment events.
It is an expectation that every Student Ambassador can give a campus tour.
The majority of on-campus event timetables will often involve giving campus tours to school groups, prospective students and their families. You will show them around focal points and buildings on campus, while talking about your own experience of university in a positive way engaging with your tour group.
You will have the opportunity to support staff in their on campus activities in a wide range of roles all over the university.
