Supporting collaborative development working towards writing the AHRC grant application ‘Health inequalities and cultural assets’

This collaboration between Keele University and B-Arts explored the role of cultural assets in addressing health inequalities.

Centred on the Fegg Hayes area of Stoke-on-Trent, the project brought together lived experience, community mapping, and social prescribing to co-produce research that highlights the transformative potential of ‘unexceptional’ urban green spaces. The collaboration also strengthens ties between academic and cultural partners, laying the groundwork for impactful, place-based health research.
