Using Theatre to Explore the Human Costs of War
The “Using Theatre to Explore the Human Costs of War” project, led by New Vic Borderlines in collaboration with Keele University, engaged over 500 participants through performances, workshops, and community events exploring the lived experiences of conflict and migration. Highlights included a powerful restaging of Voices From for Holocaust Memorial Day and the creation of peace-themed art with Ukrainian artist Yulia Ungureanu. The project has catalysed further research and creative work, including a new docudrama and a successful Migration Futures Institute grant to expand activities to London.
