Understanding Lived Experiences to Influence Policy
As part of a collaboration between Keele University and Expert Citizens CIC, a series of co-produced workshops were held in Keele and Hanley to explore how people with lived experience engage with public services—and how those services interpret and respond to these insights.
Led by David Amigoni, Phil Catney, Mary Corcoran, and Andy Meakin, the project also included interviews with experts by experience, which are now informing a forthcoming report. These insights will shape a journal article and a larger research proposal aimed at deepening understanding and improving practice in public service engagement.
