STEM-Taskforce: Fostering Female Leadership in STEM among Forcefully Displaced Young Females in Colombia
The STEM-Taskforce initiative, led by the Project of Life Foundation and Dr Huseyin Cakal, focused on inspiring young women from vulnerable communities in Latin America to pursue science and technology.
Through a short documentary, regional peer meetings, and a collaborative programme with the Bolivarian University in Medellín, the project celebrated the achievements of women in STEM and fostered cross-cultural dialogue. The initiative also provided educational resources and created a platform for young women to connect, learn, and lead.
