Reaching Across Borders (KAPP funded project) Building a Waldorf/Steiner education approach to reduce vulnerability to mental health for Syrian refugee pupils in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.

This project explored how the holistic Waldorf/Steiner educational model could be adapted to support the mental health and educational access of Syrian refugee children in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley.

In partnership with Keele University and the Lighthouse Peace Initiative, the project aimed to co-create a trauma-informed, community-based learning approach tailored to the unique challenges faced by displaced youth. It hleped to foster resilience, mental wellbeing and renewed hope for the future.
