Radical Creative Ageing Living Lab: ‘A Warm Welcome’
The Creative Ageing Living Lab in Fegg Hayes brought together older residents, artists, and community partners to explore the power of a ‘Warm Welcome’ through storytelling and theatre.
Co-created stories were transformed into a moving performance by the Ages and Stages Company of Elders, sparking reflection on inclusion, access, and belonging. The project highlighted the importance of community-led creativity and offers a model for inclusive cultural development as Stoke’s new Cultural Quarter takes shape.
