Enhancing democratic well-being through co-creating an understanding and satisfaction of justice needs among Northern Irish citizens: A community dialogue pilot project
This pilot project, led by Community Dialogue in partnership with Keele and Queen’s University Belfast, brought together grassroots practitioners from across the UK and Ireland to explore belonging, justice, and reconciliation in Northern Ireland.
Through a residential dialogue and graphic harvesting, participants reflected on the legacy of conflict, the erosion of social cohesion, and the need for participatory democracy. The project has sparked plans for a cross-sectoral initiative to deepen community-led dialogue and healing across the region.
