Fully Funded ESRC PhD Studentship in Social Work ESRC

The social work group in the Centre for Social Policy (CSP), a key component of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed to excellence in research that develops knowledge about social work and that can be applied to advance the quality of professional practice for the benefit of people that use social work, in the region, nationally and internationally. Our research is grounded in a rich interdisciplinary approach and undertaken in partnership with a wide range of service delivery organisations and international partners. A wide range of research methods are used across the social work group, to conduct research about the experience of people using social work, the evaluation of professional practice and quality of professional education.
