NTEK group members part of team at Stoking Curiosity on 22-23 November 2019
STOKING CURIOSITY is a festival that celebrates the inquisitive, encourages curiosity, and sparks ideas! It brings people together from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and beyond to experience research and debate the big issues that affect them, their communities and the wider world. Stoking Curiosity 2019 took place on 22nd and 23rd November 2019 at Spode Works, Eleanor Street, Stoke, Staffordshire ST4 1QQ.
This year, NTEK group members Aina Mogas Barcons was involved in organising scientific talks at the event. In addition, Aina and Dr Adams were part of a team starting a collaboration with local artists, to combine science with art, the beginnings of which were on display at the Stoking Curiosity 2019 festival. The festival was very well attended and all activities and sessions were free with lots on offer for all age ranges.
