Bursaries support students based on their financial circumstances and personal background, helping to ensure that postgraduate study remains accessible to those wishing to pursue it.

Scholarships are merit‑based, and recognise prior achievements. They are awarded to students based on academic attainment.

We understand that your finances are a significant factor when deciding whether to pursue postgraduate study. That’s why we have a dedicated Student Financial Support Team who are here to help you to navigate your options and to feel confident about your financial planning.

Whether you are continuing straight from undergraduate study, returning to education, or moving from overseas, the team can help you explore the funding available to you. They will ensure you have the support you need to make an informed decision about pursuing postgraduate study.

Many of our students choose to work part‑time alongside their studies, both to help fund their time at university and to develop valuable skills. Part‑time roles can offer an excellent opportunity to build confidence, enhance your CV, and gain practical experience that complements your academic learning.
