Biography
Sian is the Course Lead for the MSci Paramedic Science UG programme. She joined the School of Medicine in 2021 as a Clinical Skills and Practice Liaison Lecturer for the MSci in Paramedic Science programme and quickly took the role of Placements Lead for the programme. Sian's background includes working as a Registered Paramedic and Education and Training Officer for the West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust for 17 years.
Sian obtained a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education in 2019 followed by a BSc (Hons) in Developing Paramedic Practice in 2020 both of which moved to enhanced her role in healthcare education. She has worked in the education and training sphere for 14 years and has experience of teaching student paramedics as well as qualified healthcare professionals. She continues to develop her knowledge and skill base as both a healthcare professional and educator.
