Biography
Michelle Rickett is a qualitative mental health researcher and social anthropologist in the School of Medicine. She currently works on two NIHR funded projects focused on severe mental illness: EXTEND, about personalised care for early psychosis, and PREVENT, about diabetes risk for people taking antipsychotics and statins. Michelle has particular interests in patient and public involvement and engagement in research, and in interdisciplinary research drawing from social research, health sciences, and the humanities.
