Biography
Dawn is an ex police officer, qualified nurse and midwife with over 30 years experience in midwifery. She has varied experience crossing several areas of midwifery. These include previous roles as Community Team Leader, Lead Midwife for Safeguarding, Domestic Abuse Link Midwife and she has also run a Birth Afterthoughts clinic for women suffering birth trauma. She currently works as a Midwifery Clinical Tutor with Year 4 medical students during their Obs and Gynaey placement and maintains her skills by working 1 clinical day a week within the community setting.
