Biography

Caspar graduated with a first class dual honours BA in International Business and International Relations from Keele University. He subsequently completed an MA in International History at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

Currently, Caspar is working as Graduate Teaching Assistant at Keele University and is pursuing a doctoral research project on the Single European Act, supervised by Dr Helen Parr.

Research Project Summary

My research looks at the policy of the UK government towards the Single European Act and aims to shed light on the question what the diplomatic negotiations say about Margaret Thatcher and the Conservative government’s attitudes towards European integration.
