UK-RiME event
Last week, Keele hosted the UK Research in Musculoskeletal Epidemiology (UK-RiME) network’s annual showcase event, with more than 70 members attending.
Funded by Versus Arthritis, the network is a national collaboration between eight epidemiology centres researching musculoskeletal conditions in Southampton, Aberdeen, Bristol, East Anglia, Manchester, Nottingham, Oxford and Keele.
The network provides postgraduate students and early career researchers the opportunity to present their work, network, and gain advice from peers with expertise in their chosen research area. The students and colleagues that presented their research received very positive feedback from attending members.
Special thanks to Michelle Press, Tasha Cox and Charles Hay for their support in organising a successful meeting!
Next year UK-RiME will be held in Aberdeen, and I wish Tasha and Charles all the best in succeeding me on the organising committee.
