Welcoming CDUTCM Students to Keele: Summer Tour 2026
In August 2026, Keele welcomed a cohort of students from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CDUTCM) as part of a two-week Summer Tour programme designed to provide academic enrichment, cultural exchange, and an immersive UK university experience.
During their stay on campus, students participated in a diverse programme of academic and professional development activities led by colleagues from across the University. Sessions included introductions to UK healthcare careers and postgraduate study opportunities, public health management, disability awareness, simulation-based learning, laboratory measurement for health, anatomy and laboratory tours, careers guidance, and student support services. Students also hosted a cultural exchange fair where staff from around the university came and learned about Chinese culture.
This annual partnership activity continues to strengthen Keele's international links with CDUTCM, providing valuable opportunities for global engagement, cross-cultural learning, and the sharing of knowledge and best practice between our institutions.
