Prunus 'Matsumae-tama-hime-zakura'
Sato-zakura Group
Selected and raised by Mr Masatoshi Asari in Matsumae at the southern tip of Hokkaido, northern Japan in 1963 from crossing P. ‘Ito-kukuri’ with a Sato-zakura.
Deep-pink, medium-sized single to semi-double flowers, mid season. Young foliage is bronze-coloured.
