Prunus 'Matsumae-sayaka'
Sato-zakura Group
Selected and raised by Mr Masatoshi Asari in Matsumae at the southern tip of Hokkaido, northern Japan (parentage not disclosed).
Young leaves are bronzy. Flowers are medium white semi-double, opening flat, from deep pink buds. Calyces are bronzy-green.
