Sarah Booth

Biography

Sarah graduated as a Diagnostic Radiographer from St Martins College Lancaster in 2005. She worked clinically in the NHS for 9 years and spent 6 of those years as PACS Imaging Manager. In 2014, she moved into Higher Education and joined the Radiography teaching team at London Southbank University and completed her MSc in Health Informatics. In the years following, Sarah joined the academic teams at Keele University, University of Derby and the University of Salford in 2021.
Sarah continues to work clinically as a Bank Diagnostic Radiographer for the NHS. Sarah also works as a Bank CT Post-Mortem Radiographer responsible for undertaking post-mortem and forensic CT imaging to determine cause of death at the request of His Majesty’s Coroner. Sarah’s research interests lie in the professional identity of the Radiography profession and inter-professional education.

Sarah returned to Keele University in November 2024 and is currently a Lecturer, Programme Director for the FdSc Assistant Practitioner and BSc (Hons) Radiography apprenticeship programmes. Sarah is also the Assessments Officer for the Medical Technologies cluster (Radiography and Prosthetics and Orthotics).
