Biography

Messiah Anudjo is a Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography within the Department of Medical Technologies, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Keele University. He is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered diagnostic radiographer with clinical expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT). He is an active member of both the European Society of Radiology and the Society of Radiographers.

Messiah’s clinical career spans tertiary-level hospitals in Ghana and the United Kingdom, offering him a rich transnational perspective on medical imaging practice. His most recent clinical appointment was at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust – Bournemouth, where he served as a Senior CT and MRI Radiographer.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Radiography from the University of Ghana, and a Master of Science in Medical Imaging with Management (Distinction) from Bournemouth University.

At Keele, Messiah teaches across the diagnostic radiography programme and supervises undergraduate dissertation projects. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Imaging, with research focused on Preliminary Clinical Evaluation (PCE) in cross-sectional imaging, examined through a transnational lens. He is also working towards Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), underscoring his commitment to academic excellence and professional development.

Messiah is passionate about multidisciplinary, evidence-based clinical practice and education. His academic and research interests include cross-sectional imaging, neurovascular imaging, radiological image interpretation, and clinical reporting. He is dedicated to advancing radiography education through research-informed teaching, and to cultivating critical thinking and reflective practice among students.

Teaching

Messi has experience as a medical imaging educator at the undergraduate level. He currently teaches diagnostic radiography students at all levels along with supervising student research projects.
