Keele Business School wins top honour at Midlands Education Awards 2026
Keele Business School has been named Higher Education Provider of the Year at the Midlands Education Awards 2026, recognising its sector-leading work in widening participation, student success and delivering positive impact for communities and the economy.
The award celebrates higher education providers that combine academic excellence with an exceptional widening participation programme, attracting students from diverse backgrounds and providing the support they need to thrive. The Midlands Education Awards recognise the educators, leaders, institutions and organisations transforming lives through education across the region.
The accolade highlights Keele Business School's commitment to inspiring future leaders through innovative teaching, strong partnerships, impactful research, and an approach that places social responsibility at the heart of business education.
Accepting the award on behalf of the School, Director of Keele Business School, Dr Scott Bambrick said: "At Keele Business School, we have a strong sense of purpose. We are committed to inspiring and preparing future leaders to act with social responsibility, while contributing knowledge, opportunities, and expertise that support positive societal impact and economic growth in our region and beyond. We are proud that our ambitions and achievements continue to gain recognition on a regional, national, and international stage.
"This award belongs to our dedicated staff, students and it would not be possible without support from colleagues throughout Keele University and a wider community of stakeholders. Together, we are demonstrating the transformative power of higher education when it is rooted in purpose, partnership, and impact.
"Thank you to the Midlands Education Awards for this recognition, and congratulations to all the other finalists and winners."
