Keele has been ranked the No.1 university in the West Midlands for multiple subject areas.
A total of eleven subjects at Keele have been ranked No.1 in the West Midlands in either the Guardian, Times and Sunday Times, or Mail university guides, which have all been recently published.
Subjects at Keele ranked No.1 in the West Midlands include:

- Forensic Science
- Geography
- Biology
- International Relations
- Physiotherapy
- Midwifery
- Politics
- Children’s Nursing
- Social Work
- Pharmacy
All three of these league tables assess universities on a range of factors including research quality, graduate prospects, and teaching excellence, with this strong performance highlighting the work being done across the University to provide an outstanding learning experience for students across all three faculties at Keele.
