Keele ranked No.1 in the West Midlands for Physiotherapy
Keele’s Physiotherapy course has been ranked the best in the West Midlands in two prestigious national league tables.
The Guardian University Guide 2026 and The Times Good University Guide 2026 have both placed Keele as the No.1 university in the region to study Physiotherapy in their recently published league tables, with the Guardian also ranking Keele 3rd overall in the UK.
Keele’s Physiotherapy course is accredited by both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council, giving students a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and other related clinical skills and subject knowledge.
Students also undertake practice placements during their degrees, and even have the option to treat members of the public in the campus physiotherapy clinic, working alongside lecturers to deliver care and hone their skills in a clinical setting to make them ready for a career in healthcare.
Professor Heidi Fuller, Head of the School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy, said: “This recognition is a testament to the strength of our Physiotherapy programme and the dedication of our staff, placement providers and students. We’re proud to offer a learning environment that blends academic excellence with real-world clinical experience, preparing our graduates to make a meaningful impact in healthcare from day one.”
