Prize for Keele professor at BMA Medical Book Awards

A Professor of General Practice Research from the School of Primary, Community and Social Care at Keele University was awarded a category prize at the BMA annual book awards recently.
Professor Carolyn Chew-Graham, along with her co-editors, Linda Gask, Tony Kendrick and Robert Peveler, were crowned the winners in their category (Primary Health Care) at the BMA Medical Book Awards 2019, claiming first prize for their 2nd edition of Primary Care Mental Health.
The BMA Medical Book Awards promote excellence in medical publishing and demonstrate its importance to medical education and training.
Professor Chew-Graham said: “We were absolutely delighted that our book was chosen as category winner in the BMA book awards. As editors, we are in-debted to our colleagues across the world who contributed chapters for the book, and grateful to the BMA reviewers who recognise the value of the book for all clinicians working in primary care.”
