Munyaradzi Napoleon Nhananga.

A Cry for Survival - Exhibition by Munyaradzi Napoleon Nhananga.

Take a walk on the wild side in Chapters Cafe

Grab a coffee, treat yourself to some cake and enjoy an encounter with the wild, without leaving Keele.

Celebrated artist Munyaradzi Napoleon brings the beauty and power of African wildlife to Chapters Café, Union Square, Keele University, in a vibrant exhibition of oil and acrylic paintings.

At a time when conversations around diversity, inclusion and sustainability are shaping how we think about our shared future, this exhibition invites us to consider another important part of that picture: the wildlife and natural ecosystems that support life around us.

Through striking depictions of African wildlife, Munyaradzi’s work celebrates nature while highlighting the importance of ensuring that wildlife is not forgotten as we work towards a more sustainable and inclusive world.

So, settle down in Chapters with a coffee and cake and enjoy the exhibition, or make it part of a wider wander around campus. Afterwards, why not head into Keele Woods for a walk on the wild side of your own? You probably won’t spot any of Munyaradzi’s subjects amongst the trees, but there’s still plenty of nature to enjoy.

Meet the artist during Diversity Festival 2026
