About Keele Philharmonic Ensembles
Keele Philharmonic Ensembles (KPE) bring together a friendly, vibrant community of musicians from across the University and beyond. Made up of both our classical orchestra and choir, KPE perform three concerts each year in the beautiful setting of Keele University Chapel, often collaborating with other campus music groups to create memorable musical experiences.
KPE Orchestra
The orchestra explores and performs a wide range of classical repertoire, rehearsing weekly in a supportive environment that encourages musical growth and confidence. As a largely student‑led society supported by professional direction, the orchestra offers a fantastic opportunity for players to develop technique, broaden their repertoire, and enjoy making music together.
Keele Voices
Running alongside the orchestra, Keele Voices is our classical choir, open to singers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Under professional direction, the choir performs an exciting mix of classical choral music. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or completely new to choral work, you’ll find a warm welcome, a chance to develop your vocal technique, and a friendly community that loves to sing.
Spring Concert
