✨ About the Concert
Our Spring 2026 concert brings together two towering masterpieces of the 18th century.
Handel’s Messiah (Part II) narrates Christ’s passion, resurrection, and triumph. Expect a magnificent range of emotions — from sorrow to celebration — with choruses alternating with solos for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Handel’s hallmarks shine through: fugal energy, solemn majesty, lilting melodies, uplifting joy, meditative lament, and athletic vigor, culminating in the triumphant Hallelujah chorus.
Mozart’s Coronation Mass enchants from its very first notes. Chorus and soloists alternate, with glorious quartets weaving bass, tenor, alto, and soprano voices in Mozart’s unmistakable style. The Mass blends spirituality with playful rhythms, lyrical airs, and operatic drama, showcasing Mozart’s supreme craftsmanship and melodic beauty.
