🌟 Newcastle Under Lyme Lanterns is back for 2025 on Saturday 6th December!
Meeting in Newcastle, outside Keele in Town, at 4.30pm for a 5pm start.
Join B. ARTS and Castle Creatives for a community winter event, featuring hand-made willow and tissue paper lanterns.
You will collect the lantern you have previously made (there are often spare lanterns for those who haven't been able to attend any making workshops), attach it to a pole and proudly parade it through the town - this is a beautiful and heart-warming event with a real sense of community - all welcome to be part of the procession.
Come and make your own FREE willow and paper lanterns with us at one of our workshops (throughout November) and join in our incredible lantern parade in Newcastle-under-Lyme!
The lanterns we create are hung on a bamboo pole, do not get let loose and do not harm wildlife. You will be able to keep your handmade lantern after the parade too!
