Third Year MCC Students

Media, Communications and Culture End of Third Year Exhibition

This year's exhibition features a blend of moving image, photography, and animation projects, highlighting the diverse talents of the students and their ability to explore visual storytelling.

The moving image section includes a variety of short films each demonstrating a unique narrative voice and an individual approach to cinematic technique. Thought-provoking stop frame animation and documentaries offer a glimpse into the personal and collective concerns of the students, with many exploring contemporary issues, identity, and the power of visual communication.

The photography displays include abstract compositions to documentary portraits. Each set of images tells a story, inviting viewers to reflect on the world through the students' perspectives. The photography section emphasizes not just technical proficiency but also an artistic and conceptual approach to image-making through notions of identity, conceptual images of the natural world and the thoughts of those living and working in Ukraine.

Together, these elements create a rich and enjoyable experience, reflecting the students' growth as media creators. The exhibition is a celebration of their journey, offering a window into their creative processes and showcasing their ability to merge art, technology, and storytelling into one cohesive individual project.

The exhibition is on display within The Chancellor's Building and is free to attend.
