The Three Counties Open Art Exhibition returns this August to Fenton Town Hall Ballroom, celebrating its 30th anniversary with an inspiring mix of contemporary 2D and 3D artwork, installations, and live art. The exhibition brings together artists from across Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Shropshire and welcomes thousands of visitors each year.
We’re inviting volunteers to join us throughout August to help create a warm, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits. Volunteering with the exhibition is a great way to be part of a creative project, gain insight into how exhibitions work, and spend time with art - whether you’re confident in public-facing settings or prefer a more hands-on, behind-the-scenes role.
By joining our volunteer team, you’ll:
“This experience has not just helped me learn but solidified that this is now something I’d like to do as a career.” – Volunteer
We know everyone brings different strengths. Some volunteers enjoy chatting with visitors, while others prefer quieter, practical tasks. We’ll do our best to match roles and responsibilities to your comfort level and availability, and support you throughout.
We’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re available for a few hours or a few days, we’ll work with you to make volunteering possible. Once you have taken a look at our information pack please drop us an email and we will be back in touch.
