Hi, I'm Marie Doherty, Head of School of Nursing and Midwifery, and I'm so glad that you're considering studying with us.


At Keele, we're proud to offer a friendly, supportive environment where you can grow into a confident and compassionate healthcare professional. Whether you're just starting your journey or looking to build on your existing skills, we have a range of exciting programmes to help you reach your goals.


Our teaching team is made up of experienced clinicians who are passionate about their subjects and committed to helping you succeed. You'll learn through a mix of face-to-face sessions, online learning, independent study and hands-on practice in our cutting-edge simulation facilities, including our brand-new simulation buildings with advanced mannequins.


From the beginning of your course, you will be allocated an academic mentor who will guide you throughout your studies. You'll also have access to our dedicated Student Experience and Support team who are here to support you with all aspects of university life, ranging from academic advice and placements to well-being and personal support during your time with us.


You'll study on campus and at the Clinical Education Centre at the Royal Stoke University Hospital and gain real world experience through clinical placements and simulation.


Throughout your time with us, you'll be supported by dedicated staff and practice supervisors who are here to help you thrive.
