Hello, my name is Simon Rimmington, I'm the Director of the Foundation Year.
Congratulations to all those who have received an offer to complete a Foundation Year at Keele University. This is a fantastic achievement.
The Keele Foundation Year offers an excellent route onto all the degree programmes offered at Keele University. On meeting the progression requirements, you're guaranteed a place on your first year of your chosen degree.
As a Foundation Year student, you'll be fully integrated into university life and treated as a full undergraduate student. You'll have access to all the facilities and everything that Keele has to offer.
We have a dedicated team of Foundation Year staff who are friendly and supportive, and we have a wide range of teaching methods to help you develop your subject knowledge and reach your full potential.
You will study a curriculum that has been developed and designed by subject experts within the Foundation Year and the wider university community.
We work hard to smooth your transition to degree level study by supporting you to becoming independent learners who can explore and reflect on the development of your academic skills, enabling you to build your confidence.
