International Foundation Year (IFY)

IFY Entrance Qualifications

Non-EU International students with at least IELTS level 5.0

£12,000

A place on a degree course at Keele is guaranteed for the following September, subject to successful completion of the IFY and a visa being obtained. Students may apply through UCAS for degree courses at other Universities.

Self-funded

English tuition at an appropriate level for individual students will form part of the course where needed.

International Degree Programme (IDP)

IDP Entrance Qualifications

Non-EU International students with at least IELTS level 5.5. An extended course is available, starting over the summer, for students with IELTS 4.5.

General Foundation Year (GFY)

GFY Entrance Qualifications

UK or EU students who wish to take a standalone Foundation Year programme

£5,500

During the year, students may apply through UCAS for a place on a Keele degree (with the exception of Medicine, Physiotherapy or Social Work.) Applications may also be made to other UK universities for any course except Medicine or Physiotherapy.

Self-funded

Students are not eligible for a student loan or grant for this course. However, flexible payment packages are available.

The GFY may also be completed part-time over 2 years.

Students interested in a Health-related Degree at Keele are advised to apply for the Health Foundation Year.

UK or EU students from a broad range of backgrounds wishing to take a Health Degree at Keele

£9,250*

Part of a full honours degree programme at Keele

Student loan available, subject to eligibility.

Student loans may not be available for a second degree.
